  1. That is one thing I don’t miss about Canada – winter!! Because with winter comes shoveling and cold weather!! I laugh when Taiwanese tell me that they made the trip to Japan to see snow or they travel to Hehuanshan (a highest mountain with a road in Taiwan) just to see snow!! But I have to admit, I loved all those snow days growing up!

    • Me, too! Well, I guess I could say that but not… yet. 🙂 Hitoshi and I have said so often we’d love to live somewhere mild year-round. I don’t mind snow but scraping the car, shovelling, -35… am I getting old? 😀 Lucky you with snow days! Despite blizzards, bitter cold and crazy weather, school was NEVER closed where I grew up.
