旦那の独り言 20: カナダの街を歩きながらのレコーディング! (visiting Timmies – a chain coffee shop)

Tim Horton's coffee shop paper bag

What’s inside this Timmies bag?

カナダの街を歩きながらのレコーディング!

Hitoshi goes for a power walk around the neighbourhood with a stop at Tim Hortons.

If you’re a Canadian living elsewhere, do you miss Timmies? If not, is there an inexpensive, super popular coffee shop that everyone knows about around you? Comments in English and Japanese are welcome!

  1. Oh, Tim bits! Oh, Tim’s coffee!! Oh, how much do I miss it!!! It is the first thing I eat and drink when I arrive in Canada and the last thing I eat and drink before I fly out. However, I do get my daily caffeine intake at home – I make a large cup of cappuccino every day. There are some inexpensive coffee shops around town; however, they will never be as good as Tim Hortons.

  2. Aaah Tim Horton’s. My Canadian daughter-in-law introduced us to several years ago and now she has to struggle back with a big tin for us every time she goes home!

    • Really?? Yes! I didn’t know those large tins were sold at the local grocery store. If you’ve been to Canada or America, you might have seen Safeway?? We have a Japanese friend who uses a good portion of his suitcase space for Tim Horton’s hot chocolate!
