Shake! Shake! Shake! Disco, funk, soul and R&B turn frowns upside down

Music sets the mood better than anything. If you need a pick me up, check out the tracks below!

Let’s jump right in with Musique and Keep on Jumpin’. It’s a super fun disco track from 1978.

Slowing things down a bit, we’ll check out some funk/soul with B.T. Express and Does It Feel Good from 1980.

Staying in the groove of post-disco from 1979, we’ll head over to The Whispers’ And the Beat Goes On for some new dance moves.

War’s Disco Mix of Galaxy has over 7 minutes of wiggles. This track is from 1977 or 1978, depending on which version you play. This one is apparently a US only promo.

Moving in a groove that still has a bit of disco but smoother, Never Too Much by Luther Vandross from 1981 is next up.

The end of the party always needs a great closing and this goes to Alicia Myers and I Want to Thank You from 1981.
