Baby bloggers, take four!

Hello to all readers and thanks for still checking out JapanCanMix!

My last post was back in July 2016. It was Pregnancy in Canada & Japan and for good reason. That post was a giant hint as to what was to come.

Congratulations to three amazing blogger women I follow who also had babies in 2016! Here’s to Hanako in Canada from The Days of Hanako, Lauren in India and the woman behind English Wife Indian Life, and Constance in Taiwan behind Foreign Sanctuary!

As a mommy to two kids now, life has changed massively once again. Two is definitely not twice as much work. It’s way more! Despite trying to meet the needs of two little ones while sleep deprived and cranky, it’s also a lot of fun.

Seeing my oldest growing and changing, dancing and singing, laughing and being silly every day makes my heart explode. Our littlest one is super smiley and hearing him giggle his head off with daddy makes me melt. With all the crap in the world right now, these kids pull me out of my funk and back into the here and now.

Hope you have a fabulous 2017 and here’s hoping that the world doesn’t implode too soon. Gah! Such crazy times these days!

What keeps you going during times of uncertainty?

  1. Our two children have flown the coop. They are doing fine and they haven’t disowned their parents yet, either. Congratulations on your second! Good to read your thoughts again. Enjoy those kids!

  2. Congratulations Hilary and Hitoshi, your news has put a big smile on my face. The one thing I was astounded by when our second child was born was that the love you have doesn’t divide – it multiplies and does so again, and again, as many times as necessary – and leaves you feeling full not empty.

And you?
